OPEN SEASON! I love quote hunting and am always on the lookout for unexplored territory. So, if you know of some great blogs out there leave the links in a comment. I'll take an expedition through their archives and see what I can find.

Also, the votes are in and the May Blogtation is by Geese Aplenty, who will not however be freezing in place like Judd Nelson in the final frame of The Breakfast Club. Voting is now open for your favorite June quote!

Change of Pace. Blogtations is three and a half months old, and in that time about 300 quotes have been featured. My goal for this first year is to catalog 1,000 quotes. We're well on the way!

About Blogtations

I love quotes and I love blogs. I thought it would be cool to combine the two. Create a place where people could read great sayings by bloggers. A place to collect the funny, inspirational, thought-provoking things shared on blogs every day.

So February 25, '08 Blogtations was born. I add quotes every Monday (and sometimes Friday), and have featured over 350 quotes, so far. If you know of a great blogger saying send it to me..

All quotations remain the property of their originators, and I'll always credit where the quotes come from. The first week I just notified people, but now I get written permission. Still, if there's a quote of yours here and you want it removed, just let me know.

I've also gotten lots of emails from readers telling me how many blogs they've discovered through Blogtations. Turns out the site is a blog directory as well as a catalog of quotes. That makes me happy.

So, I'm excited about the site. Hope you are, too. Enjoy!

Who is this Musing person?

I've loved and collected quotes for years. I have hundreds of them written in notebooks. In fact, at one time my username was notebooklady.

At one time I also led book discussions, spoke to women's groups, and wrote for publication, but I got sidetracked raising four kids, working fulltime in an accounting department, and blogging. I do not cook.
